I'm the proud owner of a Jeep JLU, picked it up yesterday. Couldn't be more happier with my purchase, I'd like to thank all the folks who laughed at me on the interstate with my beat up minivan.....you all will pay (insert evil laugh). I drove my first Jeep in late 60’s. Uncle Sam owned it but let me drive. I have bought 6 jeeps since then. First one was a 1974 AMC CJ Renegade. No top came with it and had to buy from J.C Penny catalog. To mount you had to drill approximately holes to insert 50 snaps to hold it down. I’m really disappointed with FCA’s roll out on the JL. Ordered a loaded 2 door Rubicon on Jan 6. I Hope they can get it built and delivered before I have to hire another “VISITING ANGEL” to help me get in the damn thing.

Know how you feel. Drove one for Gov MACVSOG & 2ID from '67 to '74 Have own 4 more since then and have ordered 2dr Rubicon 1-24-2018 and hope we will get them before July 4th Parade?

Hi all! Great forum. Thanks for all the informative discussion around the new JL - definitely helped me decide on various options in placing my Granite '18 JLUR 6-speed order. Finalized the order last Saturday and already in I phase eagerly awaiting KZ and delivery!

In the meantime, enjoying my remaining time with my '12 JKU 6-speed with 101k+ miles. Been one of the most reliable vehicles I've ever owned but looking forward to the JL upgrade. Also have a '15 SRT Grand Cherokee. Been a Jeep loyalist since 2004!

Hello all, need to replace our 2015 JKUR (sniff sniff) picture sorta explains that....
Still have our 2013 and at least get our daily Jeep fix and looking forward to our New JLUR Ocean Blue which is on order as of 3/9.
Now the waiting game begins and as I noticed many other anxious Jeepers here waiting as well.

Already planning a trip to Ouray in August for nice break-in trip along with some test and tunes in Hot Springs Ark.

Hi everyone!

After weeks (months?!) of lurking I finally pulled the trigger today on a 2018 Rubicon JLU. Too many of you to thank here over many many threads that answered all my dumb questions via the power of search. lol

This will be my fourth Jeep and I'm excited to finally be customizing one from the factory. Looking forward to being a part of this community.

AWESOME CHOICE! I just took delivery of my 2018 Rubicon JLU factory order on 2/19/18. This is my 4th Jeep. First two while living in CO, third a street jockey in OH and the 4th my factory order is my current mid life crisis special! I waited patiently for the new models to hit the showrooms....well worth the wait. IT ROCKS! Stuck with the 6 spd manual by CHOICE and am so happy! Compliments haven't stopped on its outrageously good looks! The drive experience is great! Clutch from dead stop a bit sensitive but having driven stick for 35 years, trust me, I'll get used to it. No mods yet....still waiting for some quality JL accessories to hit the market. Enjoy!!

Hi all I'm Derrick, own a '12 Rubicon and while I love it I'm looking at a JL mainly for the diesel option and I'd really like to see it get a few more bells and whistles like better infotainment, ambulance doors, a more comfortable ride on roads and make it lighter.

Trying to find every bit of info I can about it and that's why I came to this site. Seems to have the best and quickest info out there and lots of good members so far.

Hey y'all, placed my order for an all white 4 Door JL Rubicon in January, have it scheduled for delivery as soon as I get home in June. This will be my first Jeep and I can't wait to get it!

Long time jeep owner. My JLUR is at the rail yard being unloaded. I have 97’ TJ on 37’s, squirrel powered with AX15 and Rubicase. Had the Jeep for 22 years. Had a 12’ JK, sold it, daughter also has a 12’ JK and 07’ JKU and son has 98’ long armed TJ. Pretty much a Jeep family. Everything I own is 4WD. Maybe a little Redneck but that’s how we roll in Texas!
