@zeropilot ,

Looks good. Did you set up the halo as DRL?

Any suggestions from your install? Did your kit come w the “blue clips” mentioned in the manual?

Thx.
I did do the DRL with the Halos. The set up is pretty much as described although along with the 3 bolts you need to remove from the inner fender liner there is a plastic pin in the outer corner near the side marker you need to pop out. The wires on mine looked to be the same colors on both sides. The blue clips were included.

I'm currently looking for ways to "push" the assemblies forward by about 1/2 inch to fill the gap. Unless I installed them wrong.

Thanks for sharing the info. We designed them to have a little gap so adjusting and aiming is a little easier for the end user. If you wanted to close the gap up it wouldn't be hard to space forward the bracket a few MIllimeters.

What method of install were you considering? Did your order not include the blue wire taps?

Thanks. I found the blue clips in the 2nd headlight box :)

I realized you have a sahara so the wire harness is there for the DRL. On my sport i’ll need to get creative in where I tap into power for The DRL halos.

Thanks a bunch for the detailed reply. I think il move forward the headlights in the ring before my install.

Blue clips were in the second headlight box :like:

Sport doesn’t have DRL wiring, so I’m thinking of grabbing from fuse box as some others have done.

Thanks for monitoring this thread so closely!

I guess a quick question:
Do you have the power spec (amps) on the draw on DRLs (red pig tail)? I read some tap into the seat warmer fuse but I’m worried about blowing a fuse? Thanks!

I don't, I could ask our tech guy, but I know it is extremely minimal, less than an amp. You should be fine running off the seat warmer. I also know some people tap into the power mirror, since those typically get set, and left alone.

This is great. No need for further detail. Thanks again.

Other than wiring up the halos for DRL, install complete! Having a winch makes removing the grill a pain, but just removing the bolts and sliding it forward gave me enough room. Need to aim them a touch higher since I'm only shooting out about 50' in front of the jeep currently.
I am pleased with how crisp and focused the light is so far.
