Installing OEM replacement front fender on 2023 Rubi

I want to thank all of you for your nurse maiding me on replacing the front fender on the wife's daily driver 2023 JL Rubi. I'm ready to install the replacement stock fender. So, hopefully this will be my last question. So, do I install the liner on the replacement fender before or after I snap the new one into place. I'm concerned about being able to apply enough pressure to the outer fender to snap the clips in place.

Yes, I would install the liner first. Do it while you have the luxury of being able to work on it comfortably on a workbench or countertop. While you may be able to install the liner afterwards, the risk simply isn’t worth the reward.

I totally agree with you. I'm sure that is the way they do it at the factory, but that person installs how many a day? They probably have special tools or robotic assistance. Just wondering...
