Smart you still don’t have yours? You ordered same time as me right? 1/31?
I do not have mine. I ordered 1-22..so a smidge earlier than yours. Supposedly, it is being loaded on a truck sometime soon sans soft top. That’s the information I have now. I’m hoping I’ll have it within three weeks. How are you enjoying yours?

Thanks, it feels like forever since I started this process in the beginning of December. It will be worth it when I get her. :)

Once you do get it it all seems like nothing. The one thing I had to do was just take a break from these forums for like a week from checking it 1000 times a day LOL

I went from Jeepless for several months(sold the JK to save for the JL) to finally having my JLUR home and since I purchased out of state my wife and I road tripped from NW Oregon to NE Idaho so I had 500 miles of varying speeds and road/weather conditions to develop an opinion. Overall I love it, the redesign is awesome. The new dash and features is well thought out and not overdone. It’s complex but in 500 miles we were able to get everything set the way we like it, like phones, contacts, music, apps, NAV etc. Fuel mileage was better than anticipated for a lifted on 37” KO2’s Jeep with take offs in the back. We varied the speed home in roughly 100 mile increments and ran premium fuel on first fill up, Jeep was delivered full of fuel. 70-75MPH=13.7MPG, 65-70MPH=15.3MPG, 60-65MPH=17.1MPG, 55-60MPH=19.1MPG and the final drive off the highway home which is about 10 miles of city/country driving was 17.7MPG. There was a long section SW of Spokane Washington leading to the Columbia River Gorge where we had strong cross/head winds out of the SW gusting to 50mph which I will admit was not the most pleasant driving experience but having owned a couple JK’s I knew that would be the case and my JL is definitely taller than both JK’s and we were definitely being blown around. Once we got into the gorge and the winds were negligible(contrary to what’s typical in the gorge since it’s the “Wind Surfing Capitol of the World”) the drive was awesome and we had the pleasure of driving into a stellar sunset of deep oranges and reds. It was recommended that we not use cruise control for the first 500 miles as the Jeep learns our driving style. CC would’ve been nice and probably would’ve boosted the MPG’s a little. The leather seats are very comfortable long distance and the new telescoping/adjustable steering wheel was great. Since it’s a Jeep and wind noise has been a factor and still is the premium sound system was great. Today’s we are headed to the beach to play in the sand and get our first taste of 4WD. To sum up my initial thoughts on the JLUR>————>Simply Fantastic.
