My wife and I were headed to the OBX and my Jeeps serpentine belt blew apart. My Jeep was towed to this dealer after 1 made an appointment online. Once I arrived at the dealer I was told the appointment I made was through a third party system, and hwas for a diagnostic appointment only and any service would be a few days in the future. I spoke to a lovely young lady at the counter and explained my situation. It was my wedding anniversary, and we had rented a beach house and were to check in that day. We had our dog with us, as well as a cooler of food in the back of my 2021 Wrangler. I pleaded with the service clerk, Isabell Concepcion, for a miracle. SHE MADE it happen.
Only a few hours later, despite being short staffed on a Saturday, my Jeep was repaired! She and Joey Spears gave us a miracle that day!!!! The kindness they showed to a customer Who lives 400 miles away was incredible. They also waived my deductible(mopar extended warranty)

Please name the dealer. I frequently travel through that area.

Kudos to them. Good to hear something good about a dealer!
My dealer is fairly new, and new location. Have not had anything, but the Wave oil change and rotation. The do seem to be positive, plus the service writer is a Wrangler owner/fan.

Fantastic.

However, my serpentine belt on my Ram lasted 100K miles when the water pump went out. It was probably good for another 20K.

So the only thing wrong or only bad part was the belt?

I really like posts like these. I also am fortunate to have a dealer that goes above and beyond like you mentioned.I have been a loyal customer (6 vehicles purchased/leased over the years). I have also done something a lot of folks dont do and that is foster a relationship with my dealership. I have dropped off doughnuts for the service writer crew, Sales management team and the guys in the back to that do the real work :) The old saying you get more flys with honey than you do with vinegar is true beyond words. Make the dealership remember you in a positive way and if you ever have an issue your kindness will go a long way towards a positive outcome.

And they were going to make you wait days on that! Sounds like you really didn’t have all that great of an experience if you had to pled with them to put on a new belt! And they waived the deductible. On a 60 dollar part that would / should take a mechanic that works on jeeps everyday maybe 15 min to put on. I would have hope they would have waived it. Kudos for them for just doing the right thing, but the fact you had to almost beg them…. Don’t think I’d rate it as an incredible dealer experience.

Awsome your weekend didn’t get ruined though! Where about in OBX did y’all go. I miss NC

I liked at it like this… show up at any garage for a repair. The odds of getting in and out quickly are LOW, let alone after a few hours. The fact they made it happen was great. It was a Sat afternoon, so if they got us in Monday(closed on Sunday), we’d have spent two nights in a local hotel spending $$$, and losing our beach house.

We went to Carova. It was a very good time!

I love stories like this. I had a similar experience with Cole Chrysler Doge Jeep in San Luis Obispo, CA. The steering damper literally fell apart driving down CA 1 on our 2018 JL Sahara. We called Cole mid-day on a Tuesday, and by that afternoon they had it in their service bay, our butts in a rental car, and lots of parts on order (replaced drag links under warranty as those were worn out, and got the new upgraded steering damper) by Friday of that week we had the Jeep back, lots of new parts and a fresh alignment, plus the thing was washed and vacuumed out.

Hands down best service visit at a Jeep dealer to-date. If we ever lived down there, I'd exclusively buy from them based on that experience.

Meanwhile, in Medford Oregon and Bremerton Washington, the local Jeep affiliate in those places leave a LOT to be desired and track with what most folks' experience tends to be with Jeep service....
