I would personally suggest a longer stroke than lift shock.. for sure.

2.5 lift, use a 3.5'' shock, you can always increase bump or lift height.

typically it's not even required.. if you're lifting with a 2.5'' spring, go with 3.5-4.5'' shocks.

For reference I'm running a 3.5-4.5 lift shock with a 2.5'' spring but added a 1/2'' spacer f/r and its working with a 1'' bump.
this makes a lot of sense, but at this point not an option for me. The shocks are only 6 months old and im looking for a cheap solution with what Im running. In the future I am looking to move to the Accutuned Fox Factory 2.5s and I would def do it then.

Yes accutune will steer you right! I'm using their springs (not coilovers) and they're kind of like EVO very soft. I had EVO's too.. but the accutunes are better.

they will set you up! I'm a huge accutune fan now. Super soft spring rates and you can set your shock valving accordingly.
