Salesman said the projected ship date for my order is 1/29. He said he wouldn't hold his breathe for that exact date.

E - frame, F - paint, G - trim, I - inspection. But then it depends. Some go back for add-ons, others don't make it thru inspection and go back for fixes. Some have been stuck in those statuses for up to 30 days. Even if you make it through E, F, G, I and go to KZ most don't go out right away, I think one person said they were in that status for 45 days. If I remember you ordered with Dave Smith. They get a lot of Jeeps so they might have an entire train going there and can move quickly to shipping out.My order just finally hit D1 status this morning!

yeah I ordered with Dave Smith, they’re one of the worlds largest Dodge/Jeep dealerships so I’ll be curious as to when my car will arrive I know the plant can whip out 50 Jeeps in one hour lol
I’ve already asked my sales guy Dan at Dave Smith about this when it first when into D1 status and he said there was no way to see an estimated ship date in their system until the vehicle is actually built which seems a bit conflicting to me. I might reach out to another guy named Carl at Dave Smith tomorrow since he seems to have more knowledge on the codes than Dan does lol no offense to Dan because he’s been great!I just chatted with Jeep Chat and they said that my vehicle that entered D1 on 1/3/19, just like a lot of you in this thread, has no estimated ship date.
However, I just texted my sales guy and he said their system had an estimated ship date of 1/24/19. He claimed that the dealership uses a different system than Jeep chat and the Jeep Chat person confirmed this. Probably best to call your dealership to get your status.
So I called my dealership today and the guy who I talked to (not my sales guy) but the guy who actually put my order in acted super annoyed that I was calling to ask the simple question of whether or not he could see an estimated ship date, he said it showed 1/23 but it could be wrong and how I just have to be patient! Told him I’m not in a hurry but would like to know if my 3.24% interest rate is valid since it’s only good through 2/25. He said there’s a shortage of rail cars nationwide which could delay people’s orders being shipped! The Sales Manager at my dealership said between order and built he generally has access to the same system as Jeep Chat. Any Estimated time of arrival should have a capital E because it may not be anywhere close of when you'll get it and if it isn't out the door by end of day tomorrow it won't be worked on for at least another 11 days. After it hits KZ he has access to Rubicon VLS that JC evidently doesn't have access. For instance mine moved 25 miles from Dolton IL to Proviso IL in a 49 hour period. Those aren't very big rail yards so maybe it is just switching rail carriers to finish its last 500 miles.
Aw thank you for thinking of me if you happen to me there and my Rubicon hasn’t arrived yet! I sure hope it gets here by then! Carl was saying it should be built this month and delivered next month is what he was thinking lol I can only hope and pray
It could be a coincidence (or just luck?) but mine was built around the same day as my estimated ship date, too. FWIW, i ordered a painted hardtop and it did not appear to cause any delay, so maybe that once told tale is in the past.
I too am still in D1 status! Have been in D1 for 14 days today, going to check with Jeep chat this Tuesday to see if they have an update for me, if it’s not on the line by Friday I’ll be having it escalated. Orders typically take 8-12 weeks!
