I feel stupid for asking, but what is this indicator light for in the dash cluster? I read through the actual owner's manual, and could not find it referenced anywhere. I thought it was a headlight on indicator, but those are indicated with the parking lights. It's also not the high beam indicator, which faces the other direction and is at the bottom. Fog is at the 10-11 position. My guess was some sort of tail light indicator since it faces the opposite direction of the high beams and fog indicators, but again, couldn't locate it in the manual.

Either headlights are on or fog lights, I'll have to check when I leave work to confirm

High beam is activated. To the left you see headlights on and fog lights on indicators.

Nope, high beam is blue, at the bottom of the cluster, and has the beams facing the other way:

That may be a diagram from the Euro model JL. I believe a rear foglight is required there.
This seems like a likely option and would explain why I don't see it in the US manual. It is on the cluster in my Jeep, though. It's not lit, but you can see it in there.

It's the indicator for the rear fog light. The one to the left which slightly points down and the line through the waves is the front fog light indicator.
It's a common indicator for us in Europe indeed as alphalife9 has mentioned.

That must be it then. Was just curious since I saw it and had no idea what it was. Thanks!

The real question here is, how fast are you Eurps going in reverse to need a set of foglights back there?

Only one way to find out ;):jk:
Not sure why it's mandatory here but as far as I'm aware it always has been.
