I spoke with an engineer at Quake LED and they said they are likely going to release a passthrough plug that will solve the hyperflash for LED package owners. They have it solved for their JL products but were hesitant to produce the "fix" for everyone else since they also have a sequential kit they are working on. I think they should make it. What do you all think?

They would be insanely stupid to release it. Right now they have an up over everyone else. There is now way I would buy the AAL LED's or anything else that didn't solve this issue...

It's only a matter of time before Quake's fix is reverse engineered and sold by another company, so why not capitalize on it while you can?

And honestly, it really isnt that big of a deal seeing an error message pop up when starting your Jeep. When you've owned them long enough, you get used to the "service" lights. LOL.

I've had 15 Jeeps in the last 25 years or so? I've never had a Jeep with a persistent warning light. It would drive me nuts. MAYBE if they were like $125 but at $295..haha...no way, they are overpriced if they worked perfectly let alone being incomplete. I've already found a source for the LED and can probably get my brother to make the brackets if I wanted to go that route.

Tazer fix is out in latest software. From facebook
1: Go to the lighting section.
2: Go to LEDTrn - set to "No". Hit the cruise button to store the change.
3: Set the LEDTrn setting to "Yes". Hit the cruise button to store the change.
4: Reboot
5: After reboot, turn on one of the turn signals. You will see an initial hyperflash. Then, you will notice the flash slow to normal.
6: Repeat step 5 for the other signal.
7: Rejoice!

It was posted by American Adventure Lab, and I do NOT think it is a released version. I tried it yesterday with no luck.

It is out. Use your auto update:

Yes it’s the latest update; 11.1.0 (if you run the auto-update now it’ll bring it to the new version)
Just go to LEDFrontTurn, set it to NO then to YES again and it’ll kill the bulb out warning and stop hyperflashing. Once set, you’ll have to sleep the Jeep then use both turn signals for at least 20 seconds each side before it learns that all’s ok again.

I have halogen lights on my rubi. Was given some LED fender light takeoffs. They plug right in, but I get a hyper flash and then it tells me my signal is out. I’m curious if a resistor will fix this issue as well.
You’re going to have to take your JL to the dealer they need to put in that purchase code that only they can’t provide. I’m going Through the same experience right now as we speak. I got Led’s signal fender lights from the dealer they install Them already but are still working on that purchase code from engineering 3Days now it’s not a easy task. But very possible with them doing it. I chose not to splice any wires or add anything that didn’t come there. I prefer to have it work the way it supposed to. Good luck with that.

What about the led taillights do you have to do the same with the tazer?

What about removing this “Tazer” do it have to stay connected For the hyper flash to stop? When you unmarry it will put my JL back to factory settings? Then my headlights halos won’t work? All these settings where made at the dealer they just couldn’t stop the hyper flash on the drl fender lights so I took my JL like that. I wonder if it will do my JL harm to leave the hyper flash as is?
