I was driving on SR-40 on my way back from a youth campout with my son and when I turned east on S.R. 40 going toward Ormond Beach I saw a caravan of Jeeps heading west. A lot of y'all were opened up in the rain. I told my son "Wow, there are a ton of Jeeps out today" then I thought "JEEP BEACH!". Was it a good time? I hope to do it next year.

Its a 15 hour drive for me so the only real reason I went was I got invited to showcase my Jeep for the vendor show for Reaper Offroad and we also had access to a family members condo in the area. That being said, even though we didn't get to participate in all the shenanigans we still had a blast. My dad and I made the drive Wednesday then spent some time Thursday driving on the beach before cleaning the Jeep back up and parking it at the Speedway. We got to check out all the different vendors, sit and watch people tackle the obstacle course, and of course saw a ton of awesome Jeeps all over. Im not sure Id be itching to go back only because its such a long drive, but if youre close enough I think its worth checking out. I am happy to have had the opportunity to go though and honestly being able to drive right along the ocean made it all a worthwhile experience by itself.
