How to remove front bumper insert?

Hello folks, what’s the best way to remove front bumper insert? Is it glued to the front bumper? Thanks

no it just has clips holding it on. just pry it with a plastic trim tool or whatever...that is if you are talking about the steel bumper center piece where the license plate goes.

Are you talking about the plastic piece between the bumper and the front of the Jeep? If so, use plastic trim tool to pull clips and remove. Same with plastic air dam.

Not sure about a 2024 but my sport inserts do not have clips, they have screws. If you want to remove the insert you will need to remove the air dam first to get at one of the screws. I think there are 7 screws holding each insert on. Some people just cut them off using a razor knife, this will allow the fog light wiring to still be covered. Others remove them, cut off the top and reinstall them on the bumper.
