How noisy are your JeeTops?

I love the ability to quickly get sun and fresh air with my Sunrider, but the additional noise at highway speeds can be a bit much for longer roadtrips. I've got at least two such roadtrips planned for this summer, and I'm considering getting some JeeTops to let in some extra light.

So, my question is, for those of you who have them, how much noisier are they than the stock freedom panels at highway speeds?

(I pursued the answer to this question for the Sunrider as well and saw a lot of comments saying that the difference in noise was negligible. If you believe that's true, then I am not interested in your opinion on this question :))

Bonus Question: Do they still easily fit in the freedom panel storage bag?

I can't speak for the JeeTops but ClearLidz are also an option. I wrote an extensive review here.
They would be more open than the JeeTops and you don't need to deal with the turnaround time. Just an easy install.

A nice part is that if worse comes to worse you can easily go back to your freedom panels. If something goes bad with JeeTops you have nothing.

I've looked into the Clearlidz, but it seems like it'd be more cumbersome to remove and store, and I would still like the option to remove the front panels completely.

Plus I like how the JeeTops come with a way to cover up the "window" if, for one reason or another, you don't want the sun shining down on you.

It's not hard to remove at all but it's much easier with two people solely because it's a bit flexy when not attached to the Jeep. Getting it from resting on the Jeep to held by one person vertically can be a little awkward with only one person but it can be done.

Personally I find the JeeTop approach to be putting a little too much trust in someone. Aftermarket moonroofs can leak if not done correctly. So if I'm not satisfied with their work I'm SOL.

I had a set of Jeetops on my JK. They were absolutely fantastic. Before buying I called the owner and talked to him for 30 minutes. He gave the full story on how he developed them, the details on the resin types, how he inserts the panels, quality control etc.

I had them on for 3 years and had zero issues. It made a huge difference in the light level of the interior. I never felt the need to use the shades because the tint level is perfect.

They are expensive, but worth every penny. If I went hardtop on my JL I would have bought them immediately, but went with the SOT so didn’t need them.
Buy them. You won’t regret it.
