New to Jeeps…I have a stock sport s and I’m going to a 17x9 with 5 inch backspacing and 0 offset. The backspacing/offset thing is always confusing for me so if someone can help give a pretty straight forward answer I’d appreciate it.

Should be right around the fenders for the edge of the tires. Maybe sticking out ever so slightly. I’m running +20 on the wider Rubicon axles and have about 1” poking out.

What size tire are you planning on running? I have 20x9 +1 offset (5.040 backspace) with 35x12.5x20 tires and they stick out 2.5 inches from the Sahara/sport fenders.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Here's my fender fit when stock (245/75/17 on 7.5 +44) and 295/70/17 on 17x8.5 +10

Perfect. Thank you guys for the help

someone asked what size tire I’m running and it’ll be a 265/70/17 simply because I put on a pretty good amount of miles for work and want to get a little more aggressive while also preserving as much MPG as possible. I know I could go up to a 33 but for the moment I plan to stick to the 32s

After using a tire size comparison calculator it looks like the 265/70/17 your planning to use is 2 inches narrower than the 35x12.5.20 I am running. So I would expect that your 265/70/17 on a 17x9 +0 wheel will stick out a 1/2 inch from the fender.

What size tires will you be running? Larger tires may rub inner fenders and linkage.

Nevermind, someone bet me to this. Got busy while typing.

Hey, I was wondering if you ended up getting those wheels and tires. If you did, are you able to share some pictures? I’m in a similar situation and curious to see how they stick out before I make a decision. Thanks!

I actually haven’t. The wheels have been put on back order and aren’t expected to ship out until the end of September sometime. I got a good deal on tires locally though so I actually put 285/70r17s on though
