How does the shipping process work?

This is my first NEW order Jeep, Is it first sent by train then to a depot (I am in Oregon) Trying to figure why they say 3-5 weeks for delivery. Thanks

There are some pretty severe delays currently. A lot of the hold up is the trucking. They don't have as many cars/trucks as they used to and don't want to drive a less than full load to the dealership. Something like that. May also apply to the trains, not sure.

What they do is finish your build and the park it out in the storage lot to marinate for 1 to 2 months or more just to make sure the paint is dry

Hahaha, welcome to the party pal. There is nothing that anyone can tell you. Nobody knows. Mine took 2 months from when it was picked up. Tracking showed it heading west then back east then back west then back in another transit yard back east. I recommend completely forgetting about it. Be happy when it shows up. Most likely you’ll have some form of shipping damage that will need to be addressed when it shows up too. That will add another week or two after the dealship has it. Good luck. It’s worth it.

Thanks guys, I found out from Jeep chat and the dealer ETA to the dealer is 5/27-6/10. Is there a way to track where the jeep goes? Would be kinda cool to see.
