So I have a 2D Sport hardtop with the Mopar headliner which is currently in the dealership for warranty work. Highway noise (cars, wind, etc)... is very very low. I was given a loaner Sport S JLU with mopar headliner while my Jeep gets fixed. I noticed the 4D is much louder, about 3x more, in fact I used to have a Sport S 2D with a softop, and they let in about the same amount of highway noise. I noticed the headliner on the 4D covers a lot less than the headliner on the 2D, this could be the reason. I checked everything, freedom panels seals, hardtop bolts, everything seems fine. Has anyone else experienced this before? does anyone know why the JLU would let more noise in than the 2 door?
