Hey all,

2023 Diesel with 13,000 miles on it.
Here in the mountains, in heated garage - 60 degrees when first started it idles high around 1,100 RPM.
It also has a rattle/knocking between 1,500 - 2,500 rpms, maybe a pre-ignition issue or fuel mixture.
Once at operating temperature it idles at 750 rpms and the rattle (clatter) goes away, sounds normal.
Dealership is not helpful, they looked for a code and I basically said give me my JEEP back.

Any thougths?
Thanks in advance.

Need more info. Have a video or something? I live at 9100', store my Jeep at 45 degrees or better so may be able to help compare.

The colder outside the noisier it is for me.
23 JT 16k parked outside and typically plugged in block heater for faster warm ups. I have noticed a reduction in both my Jeep and 2016 Promaster diesel noise when cold since I started using XPD fuel additive. Actually the van is running as good as new (different 3.0 engine) with this added. Also using AutoProFi DEF cleaner quarterly. Both seem to have made improvements. I was buy fuel from Murphy which contains up to B20 fuel but the JT HPFP recall advised not to use greater than B5. I since have experimented with different stations. Where I buy fuel seems also makes a difference on mpg and running.

I agree that fuel addatives help. I just finished up a bottle of EDT and using that noticed things were alot quieter at all times. Will be filling up with Archoil soon and will see how that compares.

There are some recent posts on here about the different addatives FYI.
