Hi Idle setting?

Since a few have taken delivery of their Diesel wrangler (Congrats!!) Does it come with a hi-idle setting or will this have to be aftermarket fix? I know there are kits for the Dodge Ram 1500 Ecodiesel available.

Very good question, I am interested in this too. Nice feature for running an electric compressor, winch, and slow rolling too.

It used to be available on a Tazer but they wrote it out of the firmware on a more recent update. I got mine about 16 months ago and it has that option and I never updated it.

Must set the parking break. At least every Mercedes with this feature requires fully set parking brake before engaging the switch.

Don't know if the Jeep Diesel has engine idle shut off or not. I know my Superduty trucks with diesel do. This is due to 'wetting' under long idle. For every hour of idle = 25 mi of drive time. The diesel is at its happest running fast and long, at idle it wets up so most diesel cut off at 15 min. If idle a LOT al day its recommended you change oil every 60 days.

I have a fast idle on mine and use it to keep my dogs cool in the hot months, at fast idle, 1500 rpm it can fun all day.
