Good old Stellantis. If you don't know, they just recalled 320,000 or so Wrangler 4Xe's due to the fact that their brilliant engineers who said they had a fix for the electrical issue causing fires in 2024 were WRONG. They didn't fix it and now we're being told to park outside again, don't charge, etc. This has been a journey and having paid for what we have this vehicle has not lived up to any of the promises. There is a list of effective vehicles on NHTSA.GOV/RECALLS that you can check on 11/6 to see if your VIN matches the recall. No solution yet, so as we enter the Midwest winter we're back to not being able to keep a expensive vehicle in doors. Truly a disappointment.....back to GM products.Recall Bloomberg Reports

And all the fanboys told me I was stupid when I said the the fix didn't fix anything. Go figure.
It detected some of the problems, anyway. Waiting to see if my replaced battery will get me on the list or not.

All the updates did was make cell balancing monitoring more extreme with tighter thresholds. The original cause of the fires (Build quality with external contamination) was never addressed.

The only solution is to replace the entire fleet with new batteries that were properly built, but there's no telling if the new batteries are actually built properly either. It's like the third time samsung has said they've found build issues.

Yeah, it's been about treating the symptoms and not addressing the cause. I have faith they'll find a way make it right, hopefully not at the cost of giving up my favorite Jeep so far.

Have you contacted a lemon law lawyer yet? I have one opened for my Gladiator that had its 4th transmission installed this year at under 27000 miles. I tried working with Stellantis on a resolution, but they just had me chasing my tail.

They are definitely on a short leash for my Wrangler 4xe.

I have an arbitration hearing with NCDS next week. We’ll see how that goes and then if it doesn’t get resolved I will go the lemon law route.

Gotcha. I started going that route and ended up just going with a lawyer and cancelling my arbitration. I'd love to hear how your arbitration goes though if you think to reply after!
