I have a simple (but potentially expensive) recommendation:

Take your 392 to a local upholsterer and explain what you want. They can make multiple "test" fittings fairly easily to get the right softness, size, support, etc. Once you're comfortable with the seat comfort, then you can decide on style and design of the leather.

The only drawback is cost: You're probably looking at around $5-7k if you're going with leather.
Well ppl spend $$bucks on mattresses bc we spend so much time on them... same should go for seats if you ask me.

Those seem like the standard go to for jeeps.... and ppl love them, but honestly I was hoping for a new seat and not normal katz. But they are on the list of options, so thank you♡

100% agree. I explored a few options in my 2020 JLUR as we hated those seats as well. I was thinking a Grand Cherokee trailhawk seat but it was too large.

When my 2021 gets here I am going to see about a Charger seat, or maybe compass trailhawk etc. something with more adjustability.

Hope it works out maybe a 4wp has one on display close to you? What’s your gripe with the stock seats to firm?
Too firm definitely, they just seem so slim and very short under the thigh. Im 5-5 and weigh 135... and they just feel small to me. Im surprised larger men aren't speaking up abt the seats but maybe if you weigh more, you'll sink into them more and they feel more comfy... idk... i sat in a 2013 10th rubi anny edition and if i could've taken those old used seats and plopped them in my jeep I would've! They were perfect!!!

That might be an option. It’s possible they’ll bolt right up to the JL brackets. An upholstery shop might be able to put in softer foam.

im 6"2 220 and i definitely agree the seats are quite firm, and honestly to damn narrow as the right side of the driver side pushes into my hip. I just haven't taken the time to figure out how to address it.

Theres always one in the group who has to be all literal.... Bougie is also a surgical instrument used to explore body passages...care to test out that bougie definition? No? Maybe we should both just acknowledge that I was obviously meaning todays definition of "bougie" used by younger people.... ?
Who meeeee. ?;)

Im really good at multitasking, huh? I am also installing a phone holder today. I know, its crazy, I could only tackle one jeep issue a day- or even a week- but heck its Saturday. Im going balls to the wall and maybe by midnight I will have all my answers♡

BUT DONT EVER SAY MY JEEP IS "RUNNING LIKE CRAP" EVEN RUNNING ON ONE CHUG- CHUG CYLINDER ITS STILL A JEEP AND THATS AWESOME!
Just to be clear. You said it I didn’t…

“Welp. Put on 35s. Lost acceleration. Shifting is....not what it was.... somethings off with the gears perhaps? All I know is Im not liking the engine anymore. Most of the time when I floor it and get nada, zippo. It literally feels just like the normal v6.”

Maybe I need to borrow a small child to jump on my seats for a few hours!

Maybe you are trying to add cushions to the wrong part. Just go to McDonalds and order two Big Macs.
BEST ADVICE YET! LOVE IT! (As I eat birthday cake for breakfast.... and its no ones birthday.... I just needed a cake).
