2021 jeep wrangler jl
I have a stock 2021 jeep wrangler JLU sport can i run a 17x9 -12 offset on 285/70/17 or 285/75/17 without any issues like rubbing or clearance.Thank you

I believe that you will clear them fine, the only issue you may have is that when you do anything that is not on road, you could possibly rub your fender flares. You wont rub your control arms lock to lock.

Depends on your planned use. Conventional wisdom - if your planning to go off road - is smaller wheel, bigger tire. It gives you more side wall for grip when airing down. 17's are kind of the 'sweet spot' for this, but a good rule of thumb is a wheel diameter no larger than half the tire hight.

I’m running 285-70-17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W’s on 17x9 Pro Comp Series 33 wheels. 4.75 backspace / -6 offset. No rub at all lock-to-lock.

it's just for daily driven mostly. So either rim should be ok -12 offset or + 18 with the 285/70/17.Thanks for your guys help to i really appreciate it

I think with +18mm that would be like 5.2 backspacing, I believe at least close to that, and that is pretty much the stock wheel. If you want some poke you’ll want to go to atleast 4.75 backspacing.
