So, I accidentally cut the GPS/Sirius cable connects to the modules above the sound bar while installing some speakers. Oops. Here's a link to the thread:

Don't Do This!!!

The replacement cable is coming tomorrow. I'm now realizing that the cable looks like it runs from the harnesses all the way to the back of the stock radio. The modules themselves are fine, as well as the harnesses.
Has anyone replaced this cable by chance? I am not sure I want to deal with ripping out the dash and most of the trim myself to get this cable swapped out.
Please provide any advice you might have, I am going into this kinda blind.

I’ve not replaced one, but you’re going to need to remove everything between point A and point B in order to run the cable. There’s just no getting around that.

I didn't replace the cable, but I did move it due to a roof rack interfering with GPS/Sirius. Removing the trim panels is not as big a deal as it may seem. Get yourself a trim removal kit. They're cheap and you'll very likely use it again. Most of them snap right off or maybe only have a couple screws.

I have a trim removal kit. I've traced it down the B pillar, and along the driver side door sill trim. It's beyond that where things get murky. I'm starting to think most of the dash will have to come apart....

Don't worry the dash needs not come out, remove frame around radio with trim removal tool, there are four screws pull radio out and just zip tie new cable to what's left of old cable and pull slowly and plug in. If you really want to visually see it, go to infotainment.com/YouTube shows how to replace a with 8.4 radio. There's too many videos out there to mess up. Relax and Jeep on. Best of luck. Keep the Jeep wave going.
