this might have been discussed before but can't seem to find a solution.
Problem: when stopping at a traffic light and the engine turns off (ESS), most of the time at engine restart, the audio will cut off and then restart. I have an aftermarket JL amp under the passenger seat. and the turn on lead is coming from a fuse tap in the engine area. I've tried the cigarette lighter and front headed seat fuse connections.
I need to run a voltage test to see if they are dropping at restart. if so, could I put a capacitor in between to smooth out the voltage?
or could this be a grounding issue?
any other thoughts? besides disabling ESS.
