If you can DIY, I'd totally do it especially since your gearset is 5-6 years old, why not?

And on top of that I just got it Friday and pulled the doors off and top off today and when I first started down the road I heard some pinion noise. I’m gonna throw it on a lift and listen to it one day this week and check the fluid condition
