Hello guys and gals! I’m new here, and to provide full disclosure, I don’t actually own a Wrangler right now. I’ve owned one in the past, I have some friends who own them, and my daily is actually a Liberty. (I know that’s not really a Jeep, but it was what I needed at the time.) I also own two Ram trucks. A 1500 regular cab short bed, and a new 2500 Cummins.
My reason for starting this thread is to give everybody a heads up about this company called 41.22
They sell kill switch kits, hitch sliders, and recovery hooks for a lot of Jeeps. I purchased a kill switch from them this past December for my wife’s Ram 1500. I ordered the correct kit, even gave them the trucks information, and they BOX they sent has the correct part number on it. With shipping this thing was like $120. When I went to install it, it is without a doubt the wrong part for this truck. There is not a single relay in the fuse box that would accept the kind of relay they sent me. So far, not a big deal. I figured I would just contact these people and straighten this thing out. They have obviously put the wrong kit in the right box. I have contacted them FIVE times over the past 3 weeks and I get ZERO response from them. After no response after a week or so I went to their website to get a phone number to call them and there isn’t one. The only way to contact them is through email and they DO NOT respond to that. I’ve noticed several other people having the same problem, so I wish I had checked first. Regardless, I’ve got a box sitting on my workbench that cost me over a hundred and twenty bucks that is absolutely useless to me. I’m just hoping that I can keep some fellow car/truck/Jeep enthusiasts from making the same mistake I have made. Please don’t send these guys any of your hard earned money! You might luck out and get what you ordered, and you might not. If you don’t, you’re screwed. Like me.
I hope you guys don’t think I’m just some stupid troll, as I’m not. I’m just trying to help out some fellow enthusiasts.
Thanks, Chris

Welcome to the forum, Chris.

If the kit was purchased with a credit card, you might consider initiating a chargeback request. Enough time has passed, and enough effort on your part has occurred, that you'd have a good chance at prevailing. In your shoes, I'd cease further attempts at communication with that two-star company and allow the bank proceed from here. Let 41.22 Inc. attempt to ignore their e-mails...

Just a suggestion. I hope things work out for you.

Unfortunately I paid with my debit card. I don’t think I can do a chargeback with a debit card. If I could figure out what this thing fits I could sell it/give it to someone so at least it would benefit somebody.

Strange they don’t list a phone number.

I was looking for a hitch slider. Also sold through Amazon.

I would make sure to pay for it with a credit card. i used a debit card and it was almost three months ago.
I filed a complaint with the BBB yesterday. They already have a D+ rating on BBB, and when they fail to answer my complaint it will go straight to an F I’m sure. At this point I’m pretty sure that I’ve lost my money so all I can do is try to keep others from losing theirs.

You absolutely can do so. Granted, debit card chargeback policies will vary according to the card issuer, more so than credit cards, so reach out to your bank to make inquiries. There's no harm in asking.

I will try that, James. Hopefully it hasn’t been too long. I think I purchased it on October 30th.

So I’ve managed to get this idiots BBB rating from a D+ to an F. Not that it will hurt I’m much as most people don’t check with the BBB before ordering something, but if they DO, they will get the true story about 41.22
All because this Clown doesn’t respond to people asking for tech support.
