Head Rest - Adjustable Mod?

Hey all we have a Rubicon and the headrests are poised a bit too far forward for my wife as she runs a pony tail and hair clips and the rests are tiled a bit too far forward for her. It they were adjustable that would be awesome. I took them out and faced them backwards and it was WAY too far back. Has anyone done or heard of any mods?

Following. Idk if it's my height or torso length, but my headrest is as high as it can go and still just digs into the back of my head with the forward cant of it - if it were lower it'd be a great neck breaker if I got into a wreck.

Yeah they look great but not as functional for all as they could be. If they went with a ratcheting style that would be better.
