Hardtop Question for JLU

Hello, I have a JLU and have not taken off the top yet. My question is can the back top be removed while keeping the 2 panels on the driver and passenger side on? Any pictures of how it looks would be appreciated. TIA!

I don’t think it’s possible. The two front top pieces are held on my the rotating levers that mate with the top. Without the top there is nothing to hold them on.

No, they interlock with the crossbar. You can absolutely put them on with the back top off.

You can absolutely run freedom panels only without the hardtop. They lock in to the crossbar.
