Hard copy Owner's Manual

I recall a thread where folks were not getting a hard copy owner's manual with the delivery of the Wrangler. My Willys has one - which surprised me. I had already downloaded the electronic version, so I'm good either way.

I wish Chilton's or Haynes was still in business. I'd love to get a hard copy of one of their repair manuals for the JL/JLU series. Those days are gone, I'm afraid. Too many electronic gizmos for something like that, I reckon. I'm not looking for an electronic subscription, but that may be the way I'll eventually go.

For 2024, the owner’s manual is supposed to be on a file in the infotainment screen.

No Hays or Chiltons anymore. The internet killed that.

Manual is on my 2018's UCONNECT Infotainment screen... A lot of good that manual does when you have, say a no start scenario due to battery(s) depletion.

I haven't had a chance to check out the UConnect Infortainment screen yet to see if the 23s have it there, too. I agree in that method NOT being practical.

It has it. Owner's Manual on Infotainment screen is not a new thing.

My '23 came with a hard copy of the owner's manual and infotainment manual, warranty cards, etc in a very cute little drawstring bag with the Jeep logo.

It's also on the Jeep app and I think there is an electronic copy buried in the infotainment as well, and you can download the PDF version from Mopar.

Thanks! I looked and didn't see it earlier. This is not quite the same but worth a look-see. "Haynes Haynes DIY is not a Haynes Manual." and " The instructions are no longer step-by-step and are best-suited to confident home mechanics or professionals." It's an online only product, not offered as a downloadable file. Hopefully that means it stays (more) current.

I will take a closer look at the offering and their Ts & Cs. At an introduction cost of $30, it sounds like it'll be worth it if that's an total cost and not annual or have other costs associated with its use.

When I got my jeep, I just called and they sent me a hard copy free. Call first.

Don't bother with the Haynes or Chiltons stuff. If you are serious about doing stuff to your Jeep and youtube isn't cutting it . . . get a Factory Service Manual.

Now, you don't need a service manual to upgrade suspension, install a winch, etc. Service manuals are most helpful if you are modifying the existing wiring harness, rebuilding the engine, swapping out clutch packs in the transmission, and fairly intense stuff like that.

Ahhh. I thought you meant it was in the display informtainment on the dash.
