Understandable. Mopar really needs to rethink this money grab thing they are on. They have all these customers who keep coming back to the Jeep brand for every new vehicle, and yet those same loyal customers get price gouged for every little thing. Its a real same because some of the mopar stuff isn't half bad. And they are stylized to match the vehicle better than the "transformers" look that the aftermarket seems bent on producing. I would have bought the Mopar steel bumpers, LED headlights and half doors but not at those prices.

Benny, Not sure if you missed it in this thread, but I think there may be a good market for you guys to do a front door set for 2door guys. I have not seen a single 2door set for sale, all are 4door. I would imagine a lot of 2door owners could be interested in halfdoors, and have no need for rear doors that come with all the 4door used parts.
From my understanding most of the halfdoors on the market are from people buying jeeps at dealerships that are closely equipped with what they want, but come with halfdoors which they don't. People are buying these jeeps anyway and trying to make some of the money back on the 4door option the dealer is not removing from the vehicle purchase (VIN shows vehicle come w/ halfdoors). There are not a lot of 2doors on dealer lots compared to 4doors.

5K sounds like a steal compared to what some are asking. I had a guy message me with a set asking $6800 and then still having to get them painted. Does that 5K include everything required (including premium uppers)? I'm half tempted to do it.

$5K plus the cost of ground freight, and, critically, painting. All in, it's easy to envision +/-$7K. That's not a "steal" at all, when a set of four color- and VIN-matched doors & uppers are just $4K (base) or $4.4K (premium) when ordered with the vehicle.

Stellantis really needs to do better here.

I always get confused when people claim there isn't a market. Who did they ask?

I understand we are a small minority here but a lot of people that would like them aren't even aware they exist.

Hell with the jk promotional pictures all had half doors and dealers didn't even know what they were and never ordered them.

At least with the JK, you could order the half doors painted, you could also order hardtops and fenders painted. All from Mopar. I have to wonder why Mopar and the aftermarket have failed to support the JL like they did the JK. Granted we are only 5 model years in, and the JK ran 12. But, come on, unless Jeep intends to axe this generation early, and those inside the market know, why the reduced aftermarket support?

I too would like a set of half doors. I wont buy 4 in the used market becuase there would be very few takers for just the rears. Bestop dropped the Core doors, there's another company out there making a nearly useless thin aluminum skin door and tube doors ain't my thing. If base models came with half doors, there would be plenty on the used market.

This thread makes me happy i ordered my Willys diesel with half doors. When ordered on a sport it adds power windows, locks AND the set of half doors for $4,000. Really looks like a bargain now.

If only it was a 2-door. I keep saying that I'll buy a 2-door set in Snazzberry for a reasonable price. This is the closest I've seen to make me pull the trigger, but too many doors, too much $$.

My buddy sent those to me but I don't know anyone in VA or heading that way. Seems like a good price but too far from me to make sense. I am holding out hope that a set within reasonable distance from central FL will pop up for a decent price.
