Half Door Side Mirrors Don't Fully Adjust

Has anyone else had this problem? I picked up a set of half doors for a 2-door JL. The electric components are all working fine, but when adjusted the mirror it doesn't have full mobility and I'm unable to get it positioned to be usable on the driver side.

Any idea what the problem might be?

I press the power adjustment button up, down,, left and right and while it moves in all directions, it isn't able to move into a position where I can actually see what's behind me. Even when I push it max in any direction, it's not a clean shot of my rear view
