But, yes, that is why I am planning on putting it in my Jeep. One of these and something else that is so covert I even tricked myself with, but I'm not mentioning it online. Like Poor Richard said "Two can keep a secret so long as one of them is dead."

These are nice. I just gave mine away to a fellow Jeeper. I stopped using it because we now travel with a small dog and it stops him from going to the back of the Jeep.

I haven't mounted anything for a rifle, but this is how I mounted a Kydex holster for my Glock. This is the CMM Off-road universal mount with an Aliengear Photon Lightbearing holster, all bolted in nice and neat.

Chris, what generation is that G? Just curious. Mine, a Gen 3, doesn't have what appears to be a molded-in lanyard loop. Just wondering if it's a new/standard design feature. TIA.

Haha, I'm not quite sure... That's a 19X with a 19 gen5 MOS slide on it. So gen5? I liked the 19X/17 frame but wanted optics and a light so I bought both and swapped the frame and slide around. I figured it would probably cost the same to have the 19X slide milled for optic so I opted for another pistol altogether because freedom

As stated it's a 19X, which is Gen 5. The 19X was Glocks bid for the military replacement of the Beretta, which was won by Sig. The lanyard loop was a requirement for the military. The 19X is the only current Glock with the lanyard loop. Size wise, it's a 17 frame with a 19 slide. The Glock 45 is a civilianized version in black and missing some the requirements that the military had and comes in an MOS version.
