They have a video with JT. Maybe worthwhile the purchase, apparently works with the defroster still and the blue tint would be nice.

Do these replace the OEM mirror glass or adhere to the OEM mirror glass ? Also, do these have the turn signal built in ?

I picked up a set for my wife’s FJ Cruiser. They replace the OEM mirror glass. They are a little pricy however, they work well.

Mirror replacement for plug-and-play. And yes, the built-in Turn Signal is an optional feature but this feature requires you to run the mirror wires to where your turn signal is and spliced, a bit of work but worth it if you have the time to do it.

Making the signal feature work with removable doors would be more trouble than it’s worth.

The JL seating position is high. My torso is long and my legs are somewhat short for my height. I need to have the seat bottom pretty far forward because the lowest seating position in the JL is comically high. The result Is the driver mirror cannot be adjusted "out" enough to eliminate my blindspot. The higher the mirror is adjusted, the less it can go out, as if it traverses a circle in it's motion limits.

The TJ used to address this by having two physical detent positions for the folding mirror, I think the JL has eliminated this feature. I would adjust them asymmetrically side to side.

I think this product is designed for this issue - am I understanding correctly? The viewing area will be expanded horizontally?

Yes, you got it! Suma mirrors increase the field of view. Here is a video illustration that
