Some have gone with such / similar grill inserts.

Jury is still out so to speak, how the JL will handle the additional air restriction that comes with the inserts. The JL is already known to be hot, hot under the hood.

Yes, there is factory insert you remove and then you install this aftermarket insert. The process is easy.

I saw the custom atermarket inserts at Jeep Beach 2018.

I believe/think the aftermarket insert is a bit more restrictive air movement wise. Would this be an issue for the JL???
