Mopar Replacement Grille Inserts

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace the chrome inserts to the JLUS grille. I tried to remove and paint them black with a matte clear coat, but thanks to heavy rain and winds (and probably my overall lack of properly priming and/or sealing the paint), my hard work was obliterated. I see black paint ripped off all over the place, chrome showing, etc. It's a mess.

My preferred route would be to just order the replacement black inserts. I can find replacement fog light bezels, but for the life of me I cannot locate Mopar black grille inserts. I don't want to have to paint them, just want them to come in and be a direct replacement.

Anyone have any suggestions? Am I going crazy in thinking I can't find these things?

Thanks, looked at those; a few different customer reviews note they don’t fit properly. Was hoping to find Mopar for perfect OEM fit.

You can google for a replacement grill. Easy to change, about $100.

I've been Googling lol. I've searched very specific keywords using quotation marks so the search includes "Mopar" and things like that. I'm just trying to find OEM replacements and all I see is non-Mopar stuff using 3M tape that doesn't fit the openings. I really wasn't expecting this to be so difficult given how many OEM replacement parts are typically available.

Coincidentally, I placed an order with Bam over the weekend for 6KM36TZZAA, which is the Gladiator version of the same thing. It's a little over 10 bucks cheaper, and I ordered the corresponding JT grille inserts. Not sure I really need the extra airflow, but hey- why not?

I have used BAM as well which was recommended on another thread for the JT grill inserts. Everything worked out great. I have noticed a difference with it's cooling abilities since mine always ran warmer to my liking even though it is within what is normal for a "jeep" but not any other vehicle I have ever owned. Temps drop off a hell of a lot faster than it did before and remain lower as well. But those are my specific circumstances. Others will vary I am sure

Thank you to you and @Frezski for these tips. Had no idea about the JT mesh change and improved air flow. I'm going to order both and do a full replacement. Appreciate you both.
