So I have my 2022 JLU Diesel axles off and have someone installing new ARB lockers and 4.56 gears. It'll be done soon. Now I want to protect those buggers. I dive into hours long reading about diff covers and diff slides. Seriously, I watched that guys video on gear oil flow in aftermarket diff covers for way too long
. Anyways, I like the metalcloak skid options for value / function but like others, I want consistency in front and rear protection. Their front diff slide requires their front diff cover which requires a non-stock trackbar. Lucky me they have those in stock as well
but I have to be consistent front and back so now it's
Front diff skid, front diff cover, front trackbar, rear diff skid, rear trackbar and if ADD persists, rear diff cover.
I'm ok with this but in 12 months or so I'd like to get off my 2inch spring lift and move to a full suspension lift (2-3k max). Are the trackbar's a waste then? Should just scrap it all and go with metalcloak rear and a some cheaper front skid just for the year?
TIA
