My 2019 JLUR 2.0 Etorque 42xxx miles stopped charging the batteries 2 weeks ago so I get a replacement 12 volt battery for it and am able to get it home. It was showing only putting out 11.7 volts so I called the Dealer and made an appointment, the earliest they could get me in was a week later which was last Thursday Aug 10th. I noticed a couple of weeks before that it had started making a whining noise that sounded like it was coming from the intake manifold and wasn’t sure what it was but I believe it was the generator going out. Anyway they diagnosed and it ended up being a bad BOG. They tell me they can’t get one until around August 28th because there are none available in the United States. I’m thankful the parts are covered under the 8/80,000 mile emissions warranty but I’m upset because they first tell me the warranty doesn’t cover a loaner vehicle and I question the emissions warranty covering it and they then say well we just don’t have any loaner vehicles available. They say they are going to let me know when one is available but I don’t expect to hear back from them about one. I’m a little concerned about being able to trust my Jeep from now on. I purchased the Max care Warranty for 7 years/100,000 just for this reason. Anyone else had this happen to them?
