General time from D to D1?

Hello all,

Currently my Willys order is in D status. Just wondering for all of you about how long it took to get from D to D1 status for some of you?

D = firm schedule: serial number assigned
D1 = gateline: unit sequenced for production, est ship date assigned

I ordered Dec 21st and went D1 Mar 18th. Build date is Apr 5 supposedly.

I ordered on 1/29/22 and I'm still in D. Haven't made it to D1 yet.

I don't believe there is a general time. Some people have waited a long time, others have been quick.

Don’t have much faith in anything you hear. I was told D, then D1, then D2 (?) in a short period. Then I overheard C when the sales manager called to check on it.

I don’t know where the bad information originates from since I was told it was scheduled by both JC and the dealer. It’s still not built.

Seems to vary wildly. Some guys are getting their cars in 2 months, others 5.

I've seen D phase should be 5 days, but I just don't think that's accurate. I think I've been in D since Thursday, I don't really anticipate that changing any time soon.

First jeep took 4 months to enter D1.

Most recent, I ordered Jan 5. Entered D1 in early March. 2 months but as others have said, varies wildly. Also, got built on March 17 and still hasn't shipped. ETA by April 12. So even once built, it can take a while.
