So if when ordering you specify wheel BS as MORE THAN or LESS THAN 5.5", what *exactly* changes in the kit you *actually* receive?

Just the front shocks mounts? More than that???

Answer: rear sway bar links vs drop bracket, apparently.

Rear sway bar is the issue. I ran without the sway bar until the new wheels came in. 4.5 inch backspacing works fine for me.
