Front speakers?

One of my front speakers is bad. Crackles as I listen to sport talk. What size speakers are needed without adding any mounting brackets or other things.
I just need solid replacement speakers, nothing fancy. I mostly listen to talk.
I figure I will just replace all four in dash and kick panel.

Dash speakers are 3.5” and very easy to replace. Due to the shape of the dash opening, some speakers that fit may require slight trimming of the mounting tab “ears” but not major modifications.

I believe that I’ve still got a pair of stock speakers from the Alpine system that I removed. You can have one or both of them if you pay for the shipping.

Stock kick panel speakers are 4 inches. If you are going to take the time to tear out the dash to replace them, get the Metra pods and upgrade to 6.5 inch speakers. I did that last week. Well worth the extra hassle.
