Front runner table doesnt open to 90 degrees?

Got the front runner tailgate table and I opened it up and noticed it doesnt quite open to 90 degrees (see photo). Is this intentional in the way it mounts or is this a defect? Does the top stick forward more than the bottom to compensate for the tilt? It looks like it's probably intentional but I just had to ask before I went and drilled anything.

Probably intentional. The top of the tailgate is about 1/8" further out than the bottom. Most tables have stick-on rubber feet at the bottom to compensate for this. Looks like this one takes an angled approach.

TBH, rubber feet is likely better. This one might rattle on bumps and/or damage the plastic. But IDK.

mine is the same table and it does the same thing.
it does not rattle on road/beach/trail.

After install does it angle up in the front or does it sit fairly flat?

when the table part is down it seems to be angled up just a little bit. it is level side to side on the tail gate.
