Fridge to replace rear drivers side seat

Hello,

I know there are many threads about which fridge to place in the back, with a sliding rack and everything else.

But can anyone recomend a fridge that fits nicely where the rear drivers side seat would normally go? I removed the rear drivers seat only, and am leaving the other two seats for my kid. The idea is she can open the fridge while driving and grab snacks / hand us drinks etc.

When I say fridge, I guess I really mean plug in cooler, or plug in fridge / freezer ..

I made a small wood platform to go in that spot, and have an Iceco 45. and it fits great. I have also had a Costway fridge from amazon that did just fine too. I would think any 45 quart or smaller will fit OK. I would run heavy gage wire from the battery for a dedicated plug.

Just to clarify, you run that behind the drivers seat, where the rear driver side seat was? Did you leave the passenger side seats in, or do you think the cooler will fit with the passenger rear seats in?

It actually behind the passenger seat, but the space is exactly the same, I believe. I removed the entire rear bench. I could move the fridge to the driver's side and take a photo or two.

That's really good info to know. So if the fridge will fit with the rear middle, and rear passenger seat still installed, I will go ahead and order that fridge, or one that size or smaller.

If you don't mind posting pictures of where it is now, or even behind the drivers seat that would be awesome!

I have an ARB fridge that I put in my Jeep. I fold the driver side seat down and it sits on top of it. That way I can use the seat when I'm not using the fridge.

One of these days I'm going to make something to secure it. More likely I'm going to use the strap kit and figure out something to attach the straps to.
