Is there any reason that anyone knows of why I could not just remove the drivers side freedom panel ?

Sometimes I just want it open over my head and its faster and easier to store 1 panel in the back seat.
Granted I know it looks dumb, but that's not a concern

Use to, now have a Bestop SunRider for hard top and two latches and it's open, both sides! Well worth the expense, panels are hung up in their bag!

Go Jeep!!!

Another positive nod for the Bestop Sunrider for hardtop.

How easy is it to take the Bestop Sunrider off? For the days that I want the entire roof off.

If I remember correctly, it's 6 bolts?
2 per side, 2 in the middle.

I just put mine on so I can’t speak from experience, but yes it’s only 6 bolts to remove it.
A bit more work then it is to take off the 2 freedom panels. Very doable, but i see the problem more on making sure when you reinstall it that the seals line up properly. This seems to be a weak link in the chain and most problems I have heard about are due to the seals on the doors and the top.
Just curious as to how this might look with the hard top off and the sunrider left on ?
