Free Remote Entry?

Anyone else’s Jeep app just randomly start allowing access to remote locking feature? My free trial ended like a year ago and it just reappeared without notice today. Able to lock and unlock successfully without paid service. Had a similar thing happen with FordPass in my Ranger years ago, grandfathered I to free access

also appeared on mine after I was having problems with the trip data...and I contacted uconnect services..they said they did an app update on the backend whatever that means....anyway all is working now..

Working on my 2024 without a subscription, never paid after free trial expired. Locks all doors but only unlocks the drivers door, think this may be due to a setting in the Uconnect.

Now allow us free remote start ......

I added auto unlock, alarm, camera, auto start, gps parking , etc, etc by purchasing a Viper system. I have had zero issues in 4 years.

The various versions of Uconnect are not compatible.

The agent call is probably to sell you an upgrade, which is a new Jeep.

Want the "free door unlock" well you would need to get the radio update, how do I get that, oh you just need to buy a new Jeep.

Same here. Mine started working suddenly again. Now if we can get them to fix the off road pages that has been broken for months.

They are giving it away for free, because they realize they are making a lot more money selling the data they are collecting from you from your blanket consent for using it.
