I got 4 shocks to swap out on my JLU.
Two of them are for the front with part numbers 985-24-171 and there’s also the number “1462” on both of them (see pictures). Not sure what this number relates to.
The other two, for the rear, have the matching part number 985-24-172. However the second number does not match; one is 1721 and the other is 3141.
Does anybody know what these numbers mean, and if they should be matching?
