Ford Sells Nearly Half a Million Vehicles in Q1 to Become America’s Best-Selling Brand
By Joe Kucinski - April 4, 2023
Ford vehicles are flying off the lot! Thanks to rising sales in nearly every segment, Ford is now America’s best-selling brand.
There is no hiding from the fact that Ford has faced its share of woes lately. But that has not stopped consumers from buying up all the Ford products they can get their hands on. Ford sales are dominating nearly every sector and as a result Ford has become America’s best-selling brand in Q1 of 2023. Total vehicles sales for the time period were 456,972. That is a healthy 10.7 percent increase compared to Q1 of 2022. The usual suspects lead the charge. The F-Series, the Bronco and the Mustang all saw strong sales. But so did commercial vehicles, vans, and EVs. The Explorer is the best-selling, three-row mid-size SUV. And Ford Expedition sales doubled.
