Never thought I'd say this, but it looks pretty good, IMO.

They should bring this styling back. LOL!Idk I think it looks worse than it’s ‘17-18 International counterpart. I’m also concerned that this could be what the Bronco will look like in the front since it’s going to be built onto the Ranger’s chassis. I feel like they need to do more of a box/square like vintage throwback look for the Bronco similar to what the Mustang did back in ‘05. That body style really helped to kickstart sales again for the Mustang as an icon.
The new Ranger appears to look the way it does because Ford wanted to balance cost and refine the design ever so slightly as not to alienate American midsize truck buyers. This is very much in keeping with the whole "One Ford" mantra installed by Alan Mulally before he stepped down. So, I'm not really surprised it looks the way it does.Idk I think it looks worse than it’s ‘17-18 International counterpart. The 2.3 makes 310 hp and 350 lb/ft in the Mustang. It will probably equal or better the 2.0T JL.2.3 is the only motor, I'm not thrilled about it. Engine works decently well in sporty cars but I can't imagine it'll be any good in a truck.
Steel is cheaper. Designing the Ranger to a price point.
Ford is going back to steel now? Looks like they're taking a mixed steel/aluminum approach like Jeep is with the JL.
