Better than a Flex, but it will probably still look nothing like that in reality unfortunately, and definitely no longer a Wrangler competitor.

The original concept Bronco was impressive, like the LR DC100, but their 'to-market' final product is going to only slightly reflect that early promise/hope/brilliance.

They just gave that concept to the Rock for one of his new movies. I'm guessing that they wouldn't be promoting that concept again if it wasn't going to resemble it in some way.

I agree, it will be close, I think it'll just be softened a bit. Movies are still over the top, so likely still a bit shinier/edgier than what will be on the showroom floor.

I figure Ford has pushed back the U725 Bronco to 2020, on the basis they needed some advance info on the JL? The P375N Ranger goes into production on Thursday, November 1, 2018, for a January 2019 launch date. The U725 Bronco Job #1 date is Wednesday July 1, 2020, which arrives in Ford showrooms in September 2020 as a 2021 model. This is a serious effort, that won't merely be a warmed over Everest. It is an entirely different top-hat over the T6 platform.

It sounds like the Bronco design/plans are not fully locked in yet if they are waiting on the JL. Will it be 2 and 4 door models? If you have an ear to anyone at Ford tell them the world wants a true Wrangler alternative and not just a tough looking Explorer.
