Folding mirror problem

The outside passenger mirror on my 18 JL wont fold. Driver's side is ok. Any tips on moving it? Silicone spray in the joint? I don't want to force it.

Silicone or WD40 at the pivot, then wiggle it back and forth a little to see if it wants to go. Chances are it will move if pushed hard enough, just be sure you are pushing on the housing and not the glass!

Try blowing it out before the lubricant.

Got it! Air blaster and silicone spray did the trick. I've always found that silicone is the best lubricant for plastic to plastic surfaces.
