I recently bought the Rough country black series pods, and Artec bracket for the windshield. They are installed on top of each other. But which ones are recommended for being on top?

With all due respect, it will make no difference. The vehicle is going to block most of the flood light, as it will much of the spot light. Whether one or the other is several inches higher than the other one will make less than an ounce of difference, in fact, if you're on the metric system, it'll make less than a gram or milliliter of difference, whether it's a dry or liquid measurement we're talking. You will find that the difference your eye can detect, well, it will be all but undetectable.

So, all that to say, put the spot up higher than the flood, or you'll hate yourself in the morning.

I’d put the flood on top and the spot on the bottom so that the wide spread of the flood gets covered less by the hood.
