Flashing dasher

Anyone else experience dash flashing? Happened about two hours into my road trip, both ways. Each screen selection flashes like this when it happens. No idea how I made it stop each time. First time I turned car off when stopped for gas, second time stopped while driving.

@JeepCares Any suggestions for me? Difficult to have the service department diagnose as it doesn't start happening until an hour into trip. I am now driving over an hour to work so it is happening to me every single day. Very annoying.

@JeepCares Unfortunately the dealership could not replicate. I had a feeling, which is why I have hesitated. They were willing to keep trying but I unfortunately need the vehicle back today. They don't have loaners. (They have had it since last Thursday. Not a complaint, just info). Not sure how this can be resolved. It only happens with my phone connected to CarPlay. I also have a 2024 GC Summit Reserve and it never happens in that car. I would think that they have the same head unit (I do think it is my head unit. I cant remember if I mentioned but it has happened since it was brand new).

I had the same issue. Seems to only happen with Apple Maps. Google Maps works fine and does not cause the dash to flicker. I keep waiting for a software update but none yet. Has been happening for the past year for me. Good luck.

Hello. Vehicle is still attempting repair. I returned the rental to the dealer but the issues persist. Since the dealer is no longer allowing a rental through them, may I rent and get reimbursed? It looks like up to two weeks longer before the new part comes in.

2024 JL here. I use Apple CarPlay.
This screen flipping/flashing started happening to me with iOS 26.4.1 (didn't previously do it) and it only started doing it when navigating with Google Maps and when also selecting the pop-up option for Google Maps to provide turn-by-turn directions on the speedo-dash.
This issue does not occur when navigating with Apple Maps (which also has turn-by-turn directions on the speedo-dash).
Apple released a new iOS update 26.4.2 the other day. I will be checking later today if the issue has been solved for me with this recent iOS update.

I have the same issue in my 2024 Rubicon 4xe X but this has been going on for over a year for me. I will also try the latest Apple update (26.4.2) but I'm not holding my breath since I keep thinking one of the earlier updates would finally have fixed the issue.

Does anyone know if it's possible to turn off the turn-by-turn directions in the speedo-dash area? I'd be fine with that as a solution.

I paused the OPs video and this is what's popping up. It seems like it's trying to reroute or give directions, but has no idea what to do since there is no destination.

Unfortunately the recent iOS update didn’t fix the issue for me with Google maps. Apple maps still works fine, no dash flash with Apple Maps.
I’m going to uninstall & reinstall Google maps, and will report back. For now switching to Waze.
