Hello everyone! My name is Connor. My middle name being Jordan which gave me the nickname CJ since childhood. Which is fitting since the first civilian Jeep was nicknamed the Jeep C.J. First-time Wrangler owner. Granted, we've had Jeeps in the past such as an XJ Jeep Cherokee 2Dr followed by a ZJ Jeep Grand Cherokee a few years later. The first car I ever learned to drive on was a 2007 Jeep Liberty. I nicknamed that the Cheap Liberty because it was a total piece of garbage but most of you already knew that 😁

We just purchased a brand-new 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4DR Sahara in Earl Grey. We traded in a Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks which we enjoyed for a little while but we wanted something more capable. My family and I plan to move up to New England sometime next year. Having a better state of mind with a 4WD transfer case, more robust 3.6L V-6, body-on-frame construction for toughness, and popping the tops off during the cool months and taking in the scenery were the reasons for this decision. So far it's been great, especially in the looks department! I now fully understand the appeal of Wranglers, especially in their famous bold colors. How can you not like it? There's nothing out there that looks like it (closest comparison being the full-size Bronco) and are known for their healthy following. Not to mention they are absolutely everywhere down here in South Florida! Same goes for the Gladiator sibling.

I'm most impressed with the ride quality considering I've driven Wranglers in the past and absolutely hated them. They can't drive in a straight line, they're rattly, not well insulated, crappy interiors and have poor driving manners, but that's no longer the case with the current one. They've definitely improved the suspension and insulation since the JL generation because it drives really well for what it is. No rattles (so far), it soaks bumps well, has a sharp turning radius for being body-on-frame with a live front and rear axle, seats are fairly comfortable, the interior quality is much improved and the overdue modern tech is a welcome addition. I forgot as part of the 2024 refresh, they integrated their newest 12.3-inch UConnect 5 touchscreen. It's very intuiative and has great response time unlike our slow and dated Sync 3 in the Bronco Sport. I'm still learning as a go on but from what I can take in so far, I'm really enjoying it. My dad loves it to pieces!

Thank you all for tuning in and I hope you enjoy the pics. And yes, our salesman threw in some ducks on the house! 😉 Gotta keep the tradition going!

Congrats! That Earl Gray is downright stunning! I was raised in New England and miss the snow herein Missouri! New England is expensive and getting nuttier by the day, think carefully before you make the move. Good luck and God bless! Charlie

Welcome to the Jeep family CJ (why stop a good thing, right). Enjoy your new ride. And remember, if you have questions, right here is where you're gonna find the most folks who have experience. Keep one thing in mind. Jeep actually stands for "Just Empty Every Pocket". Cause you're gonna see a million upgrades and mods you'd like to do. Have fun!!!

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I never knew about that acronym  Yeah, there's a lot of Wranglers around here that go crazy with mods. But for me, I'm not really into that jazz. We're just gonna keep it stock. It just looks so good as is.
